Christmas 2009

So, I'm going to try to catch up a little here. I'm pregnant and I was sick-to-death for 4-1/2 months. I finally got Zofran to stop throwing up everyday, and now I'm just uncomfortable because the baby is getting big and he kicks me A LOT, and HARD! I worried a lot about Addison not moving when I was pregnant with him, but that never seems to be a problem anymore with this one.

We moved (down the road) to Spreckels... a little town with 400 people that is so small they don't have postal service, so you have to walk (or drive, but I say walk so that it sounds more like the Mayberry that it seems to be) to the post office to get your mail.

I haven't really taken any pictures, so I'll go back to Christmas when I took a total of 6 pictures. All of the 4th graders play the recorder in a little recorder band. They got to go to the community college in Salinas and play with their orchestra for a Christmas concert. It was pretty cool... They learned Ode to Joy, Jingle Bells, and a few other songs, and then played with the full orchestra backing them up! It sounded fantastic!Addison really has the coolest teacher ever. Mr. Doolittle (Mr. Doo) is a real-life Dr. Doolittle. His classroom is full of critters that the kids can bring home and have to take care of in class. Addison had brought home a bearded dragon so many times that he asked for one for Christmas. Now we have our own here. His name is Fella. Mr. Doo and the crazy 4th graders. We spent Christmas in Utah. Honestly, I felt like garbage, so it wasn't that great. Addison got too many toys and we had to drive back to California with them (and Fella) in a hot (for Fella) and stinky (because of Fella) car. I threw up pretty regularly (I'm not blaming anyone, but Fella may have played a part in some of that).
More toys and cute Brayden in the background.

Since these are the only pictures I took, I'll post this one too. We must have put a puzzle together at some point. We're fun!!
