three months in review

In January, Noah started sitting up by himself... and drooling more.
In February, we celebrated my winter birthday by going to the beach and enjoying the sun!
February also brought the school science fair. Addison did his project on reaction time and tested the boys and girls in his class to see which gender was the fastest. Guess who won. It was not who Addison predicted! He did very well and his picture was in our local paper!

In March, Noah started crawling.
This was his first day. He's much better now. Don't judge him.

Of course, we also celebrated Addison's birthday. Eleven!! He wanted pepperoni pizza and chocolate cake. He got lots of great presents (books, iTunes gift card, money, treats), but the one that has taken over his life is his iPod touch. He got a texting app and the other night I started getting texts from him for dinner requests while he was in his bedroom down the hall. We'll see how this goes. One really cool thing about it, though, is that it has Facetime. He can now video chat with his dad and cousins. It's great, but it makes me feel like I have to be dressed and have my house clean all the time because you never know who is going to call!!
I love this kid and am so proud of him. He loves to read, and on his last report card his teacher was excited to tell me that he read and tested on more books than anyone in the class! He played basketball this year. He loves riding his bike. Of course, he loves his video games. I know I can always count on him to make good decisions and be a good example for his friends and brother. I'm lucky to be his mom!!
